The First Annual Triangle Bikers Reunion Ride was a huge success!! I hope everyone made it home safely since everybody went their own way in Wake Forest. Thanks again to Lisa for putting this site together. And a huge, huge, huge, thanks to the Blue Knights that helped us out today.
I’m proud to announce that we had 40 bikes and 50 people on our maiden ride! Pics will be coming soon (sorry Lisa, you’ve got a lot of work ahead of you, now) and maybe a video or two.
A total of $180 was donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and so our first donation will be an even $200. Thanks again for helping us support such a great cause.
Send in your responses and let everyone know what you thought about the ride. I know some improvements could be made, but this was really typical. Especially the part where a few in the middle pulled off to go a different direction and so the rest of the group followed them. That kind of thing happens all the time when rides are ending, so don’t get discouraged about that. One of those “Ride Your Ride” things.

A massive thanks the organizers for the excellent ride. I am not a MSF student but after 28 years (!) riding bikes of all kind, a course could help me lose a couple of bad habits. Anyway: great ride and great crowd: thanks to everybody who went out of their way to make me and the group I ride with welcome.

I have been in the saddle for one year and about 8,000 miles. Been on a bunch of rides; this was the best by far. Every mile was a memory (even the part where 2/3 of the group went AWOL.)

It was a GREAT day and an AWESOME ride. Thanks to Jim for pulling this together and the Blue Knights for their help in giving us a safer ride. When is the next ride??
I will try to convince Michelle to come along and take pictures again.

Thanks Jim for putting this together and help from the Blue Knights. Enjoyed the ride and meeting new bikers. Was hoping to see some fellow class riders from my class. Glad you enjoyed the ride back from Wake Forest on Purnell Road. Will be looking for the reunion next year.
It was a great riding day, couldn’t ask for more.

Thanks to everyone for making this such a wonderful day! The ride route was perfect and everyone was so friendly. I can’t wait to see the pictures. I look forward to seeing everyone again on some future rides. Thanks to the organizers, the Blue Knights, and all the other experienced riders. Because of you I felt completely comfortable on my first large group ride. With only 3 months of riding experience and 1,000 miles in the saddle, I can’t tell you how much it helped to have the Blue Knights blocking intersections for me! Take care everyone and be safe out there.

Wow! What a great ride. This was my first large group ride and it was a great experience. When can we go again???? Was fun to get out and spend some time with other riders. Thanks Jim for putting this together and a big thanks to the Blue Knights for helping to make the ride safe for us. I never did hear any pistol shots from any of the Blue Knights holding up traffic but perhaps the sound was masked by all the pipes from the bikes? And what awesome pictures from Stefan and Michelle! I can’t focus my camera standing still. How in the heck did you get such great (and in focus!) pictures riding 60+MPH???? I need to know what kind of camera and lens that is!!!! Oh yeah, and last but not least thanks to my wife for this cool site where we can keep in touch with all the riders in the triangle. Hope we can do it again soon!

Great ride! Thanks to Jim for organizing, Jim’s wife for obvious reasons, the Blue Knights for the assistance, Lisa B for the site, and Michelle for the pics…in no specific order. I’m always up for a ride, so I will be checking back for future events.

This was a total blast and my first time riding in a group. Again, great pics. Everything was a smooth ride.
